Khang Nguyen Trieu<\/b> is Group Head of Digital and Technology at Banyan Group<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He also chairs the <\/span>Robotics Task Force<\/b> within the <\/span>Singapore Hotel Association\u2019s<\/b> Hotel Innovation Committee, sits on the <\/span>Singapore Tourism Board\u2019s Tcube<\/b> innovation workgroup, serves on the <\/span>Board of the International French School of Singapore <\/b>and is the founder of The Way Forward<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

A Singapore-based senior Tech Executive with <\/span>25+ years<\/b> in technology across Europe and Asia, he has held leadership roles in strategy and delivery. In France he worked in leading consultancies, co-founded a startup in the early 2000s, and spent twelve years in tech leadership at <\/span>voyages-sncf.com<\/b> (now <\/span>SNCF Connect<\/b>), an Expedia\u2013SNCF joint venture and one of Europe\u2019s largest online travel platforms. In 2016 he moved to Singapore, later serving as <\/span>APAC CIO<\/b> and then <\/span>Group Chief Technology Architect<\/b> at <\/span>Accor<\/b>, one of the world\u2019s largest hospitality groups (40+ brands including Raffles, Fairmont, Pullman, Novotel, Ibis; 5,500+ hotels).<\/span><\/p>\n

His community roles reflect two convictions: <\/span>education<\/b> shapes the next generation, and <\/span>responsible technology <\/b>should improve businesses <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> society.<\/span><\/p>\n

From tech legacy to AI:<\/b> Khang\u2019s work sits where <\/span>ageing systems<\/b> and <\/span>siloed ways of working<\/b> meet board-level pressure to \u201cadd AI now.\u201d He understands the pain of <\/span>technical debt<\/b> \u2013 in systems, processes, and mindsets \u2013 and the CIO\u2019s challenge of cutting complexity while building future capabilities.
